This material stimulates hand-eye coordination and introduces the child to a gradual internalization of the concept of fractions. It should be introduced when the child has developed good fine motor skills, good visual and manual coordination and wrist rotation control.

It consists of a tray with 3 hollow squares in which 3 colored squares are inserted: one whole, one divided diagonally (1 half), one into four triangles (1 quarter).
