Wooden balls on vertical rods - Nienhuis AMI

A square wooden board with 4 small pegs that holds 4 balls of two different sizes. The balls invite the child to grab them and discover the different sizes. Placing the balls on the pegs is another new challenge for the child. When the pegs seem to 'disappear' into the balls, the child finds that the center hole of the ball also disappears and the shape becomes whole.
