Activity ideas by age

Looking for activities for your children?
We have prepared a selection of activities listed by age.

For 0-6 months:

1) My birth box : from birth, babies want to see and touch in order to understand their environment. Maria Montessori has imagined quality material for him.

2) Interlaced disc : we offer the child the opportunity to catch objects and discover the possibility of his hand. We also offer the child information on what he can do with his body. Little by little, he becomes aware of his body by discovering himself and his environment.

3) Infant teething ball : a rubber ball with protrusions also called a nipple rattle. When the child "chews" the ball, it helps to relieve the pain associated with the growth of the first teeth.

For 6 - 16 months:

1) Rings on horizontal rod : horizontal rod on square base with 3 wooden rings and 3 metal rings.

2) Rings on a vertical rod: thanks to this material, the child refines his eye/hand coordination and his fine motor skills.

3) Wooden balls on vertical rods : a square wooden board with 4 small pegs that holds 4 balls of two different sizes. The balls invite the child to grab them and discover the different sizes. Placing the balls on the pegs is another new challenge for the child. When the pegs seem to 'disappear' into the balls, the child finds that the center hole of the ball also disappears and the shape becomes whole.

4) Recessed box - rectangular prism : refinement of eye-motor coordination and give the child the opportunity to make both hands work together. We help the child to work on something of object permanence.

5) Cylindrical recessed box : a box belonging to the series of recessed boxes (round, square, triangle).

For 16 months - 3 years:

1) Toddler Puzzle - 3 Sheep : This engaging puzzle stimulates hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills in young children. The realistic images are placed in the right proportions and allow the child to learn the difference between big and small.

2) Disc passage tray : a tray with a removable wooden separation board with 1 slot. The child inserts the disc into the slot where it "disappears" behind the dividing board. It can also be used with two children who each sit on one side and pass the disc from side to side. The bottom of the tray is covered with felt to reduce noise.

3) Recessed box with several cylinders : after the series of recessed boxes (round, square, triangle), we can offer the child the recessed box with several cylinders.
